Why reClip exists
Every clipboard manager I tried wanted to sync my data through someone else's servers. Passwords, addresses, private messages, code snippets — all sent to the cloud without a second thought. That never sat right with me.
The ones that did stay local were either outdated, sluggish, or built on web technologies that made them feel out of place on a Mac. I wanted something that was fast, native, and treated privacy as a given — not a premium add-on.
So I built reClip. It is written in Swift and SwiftUI from the ground up. It stores everything on your device, makes zero network requests, and uses the same design language as the rest of macOS. No accounts, no telemetry, no compromises.
